This privacy notice applies to all information collected through our Services (which, as described above, includes our Games and website), as well as, any related services, sales, marketing or events.

We take privacy seriously and aim to collect as little information as possible. SpaceOwl Games does not currently collect or store sensitive personal information. In order to support platform integration and player profiles within our games, we may access and locally store basic platform account information provided by the platform you use to access the game, such as your Steam ID and Steam username, or your Meta account ID and Meta username. This information is used solely to identify your local in-game profile, enable multiplayer and social functionality, and associate gameplay data with your local save profile.

This information is stored locally on your device unless otherwise stated and is not sold or shared with third parties.

In the future we may implement some basic analytics which will track game events such as how far you got or what mission you played, but it will not intentionally collect sensitive personal information. This data would merely be used to gain insights into how people play the game so that we can improve the game. It would not be shared with any third parties.

We may also receive crash reports, log data, and usage or sales statistics from platform providers such as Valve Corporation and Meta Platforms. These reports may include platform account identifiers or usernames associated with the platform account used to launch the game.

We may use cookies in order to customize this site for return visitors. These cookies are not required for site functionality. Additionally, third-party widgets such as YouTube or Flickr may install cookies depending on their configuration. You are not required to accept any cookies to use this site.

GOOGLE ANALYTICS
We use a tool called “Google Analytics” to collect information about use of this site. Google Analytics collects information such as how often users visit this site, what pages they visit when they do so, and what other sites they used prior to coming to this site. We use the information we get from Google Analytics only to improve this site. Google Analytics collects only the IP address assigned to you on the date you visit this site, rather than your name or other identifying information. We do not combine the information collected through the use of Google Analytics with personally identifiable information. Although Google Analytics plants a permanent cookie on your web browser to identify you as a unique user the next time you visit this site, the cookie cannot be used by anyone but Google. Google’s ability to use and share information collected by Google Analytics about your visits to this site is restricted by the Google Analytics Terms of Use (as amended for government websites) and the Google Privacy Policy. You can prevent Google Analytics from recognizing you on return visits to this site by disabling cookies on your browser.

 

Data Deletion Requests

Users may request deletion of any personal information collected by SpaceOwl Games at any time.

Please include your platform username and platform ID (if known) to help us identify your data.

Upon receiving a verified deletion request, we will delete or anonymize any personal information associated with your account that we control, unless we are required to retain it for legal, security, fraud prevention, or technical reasons.

Please note that some information may also be stored by platform providers such as Meta or Steam. Requests regarding data stored by those providers should be directed to the applicable platform provider.
